Master classes and International concert tour
International exchange of young talented musicians from whole Europe, in the context of an
Intensive Master class of chamber music, held in the private, friendly atmosphere of the beautiful manor ?Gut Hornegg?, Styria, in the South of Austria.
Participants:
9-12 music students from all over Europe,
focus on South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe, Austria, Germany
Instruments:
piano, violin, viola, cello
There will be formed 3 ensembles working out masterpieces for piano trio, piano quartet or piano quintet.
Teachers:
Milana Chernyavska, piano (Ukraine), professor at the Music University of Graz
Claus-Christian Schuster, piano (Austria), founder of the Altenberg Trio Vienna
Olivera Mili?-Hirscher, violin (Serbia), professor at the Special School for talented young musicians in ?uprija, Serbia
Meinhard Holler, cello (Austria), cello professor in Munich, founder of colluvio
Teaching Concept
Participants experience personally how demanding masterpieces of chamber music can be brought to a very high level during the 10 days-lasting class due to intensive musical supervision.
The impressive result of this highly-motivated meeting will be presented to the public on an
international concert tour in the home countries of the young participants.
